VEVAY, IN (FOX19) - Husband and wife photographers Pam and Bud Acton will display their photography at the Switzerland County Visitors Center during Vevay Main Street’s April First Friday event. The opening is from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, April 5, and is free and open to the public.

Pam Acton grew up with photography, having access to her father’s darkroom in the basement of their home. Allowed to take a camera to school since the second grade, it has been in more recent years that Pam’s interest in photography rekindled through sharing the activity with husband, Bud.

When out with a camera, Pam looks in all directions for subjects, enjoying photographing close-ups. One of her favorite images is an award-winning photo of a baby eagle in its nest. A night-blooming jasmine—looking similar to a pinwheel before blossoming —is also a favorite.
