Laurel woman arrested for running in home meth lab
FRANKLIN COUNTY, IN (FOX19) - A woman in Laurel, IN is facing several felony charges after police found a working meth lab in her home.
A warrent was served at the home of Carla Taggart,48, on Wednesday by members of the Pendleton District Meth Squad, along with officers from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department and Rushville City Drug Task Force.
The warrant was obtained for the home on old US 52 as the result of officers following up on tips in an ongoing meth investigation.
Taggart was arrested charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Class “B” Felony; Possession of Precursors used in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine Class “D” Felony; Possession of Methamphetamine, Class “D” Felony and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Class “D” Felony.
Taggart was being held in the Franklin County Jail.
