Vevay shooting victim in hospital; suspect on the loose | Crime

VEVAY, IN (FOX19) – The Vevay Police are asking the public for information about a shooting Monday night in which charges have yet to be filed.

Vevay Police Chief James Richards says the shooting took place at Valley Apartments in Vevay. The man who was shot was airlifted to University of Cincinnati Hospital where he remains in stable condition.

The incident remains under investigation by the Vevay Police Department 812-427-3737.  No charges had been filed as of Tuesday.  Anyone with information regarding the shooting is urged to call the Vevay Police Department.

Besides Vevay Police, the Switzerland County Sheriff’s Office and Switzerland County EMS also came to the scene.
