National Transportation Safety Board investigator Stuart Bothwell tells The Indianapolis Star (http://indy.st/Yzy3kz ) that Horan's plane is a complex pressurized model with modern avionics.
Others killed in the crash were Horan's 44-year-old wife Barbara and their friends 45-year-old Stephen Butz and his 42-year-old wife, Denise. They were returning from a trip to Florida.
A joint funeral for all four is set for Friday at the Greensburg High School gym.
